Dr. Jesse Peterman

Dr. Jesse Peterman has been with Lossman Eye Care Associates since 2006. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Peterman received a bachelor’s degree in biology honors, graduating with distinction from the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign in 2001. Dr. Peterman has received extensive training in the areas of pediatrics, ocular disease, low vision, and contact lenses at several locations, including Great Lakes Naval Hospital and the Illinois Eye Institute. While in optometry school, Dr.Peterman was elected to join the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key Honor societies and he received the Illinois Optometric Scholarship for academic performance.

Dr. Peterman has been involved with local Lions Clubs. He has participated in service missions with Illinois Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) providing eye care to underserved populations in the Dominican Republic. He is also involved with the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and Greater O’Hare Association.

Dr. Peterman and his wife, Meredith, are the proud parents of two boys.  He and his family have resided in Palatine for the several years.
